Welcome to the new season 2012
Set amid beautiful countryside with far reaching views, our Cricket Club is located just east of Hereford, in the village of Bartestree. We have great pitches, a lovely pavilion with a café, plenty of carparking on-site, and are looking forward to an enjoyable summer for all our members and visitors.
You can find information on each of our junior teams, contact details for coaches and committee members here as well as fixtures and results throughout the season.

A word from our chairman
Dear players and parents
This season we will again field Boys Under 15, Boys and Girls Under 13 & Under 11 and
Boys Under 9 teams. For the second year we will also invite Under 6s and Under 7s to train
for Kwik Cricket. We hope this will attract more youngsters to give cricket a try.
Following last year’s agreement between B&LCC and Herefordshire Cricket for us to be a ‘hub’ for Girls’ Cricket we have made tremendous progress with three qualified coaches dedicated to coach the girls. We will be one of only four clubs across Herefordshire taking on this role.
If you have a daughter wishing to play cricket, or know of a girl who is interested, please give us a call.
The Senior section will have three teams this season with a number of former Junior section players now playing for all three sides. These teams have now been strengthened by the amalgamation with Bishop’s School team. We expect even more U13s and U15s to be given the chance to experience Adult League Cricket this season. B&LCC also have a good number of U11s to U15s playing County Cricket.
To keep this momentum going, B&LCC now have more qualified coaches, scorers etc., and with having the Pavilion we are being asked to host even more schools and county matches and finals, as well as girls and junior coaching camps. To aid the club growth we have also applied for new, fully enclosed nets.
With these better facilities and the ever increasing demand from players and parents for improvements on and off the field, this puts even more demands on the small band of coaches and committee members. Therefore we are always looking for volunteers to share the workload. No matter how small the input, if you can help, please give me a call.
I hope you all have a great season and lots of sunshine!
Malcolm Harris
Junior Club Chairman
